I like to work with clients who are interested in bettering themselves and working collaboratively to let them learn more skills to help them in the future. I find that I do well with people who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders and other impulse control disorders such as addictions, binge eating, etc. The perfect client is the one who knows that the issues exist and are willing to try. No one is actually perfect.
I am dually licensed therapist in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. I have specialized training in addictions, ADHD, anxiety, binge eating, intimacy/sexual issues, personality disorders particularly Borderline Personality Disorder and trauma concerns. I offer a mix of talk therapy and skills introduction so people can feel heard but also learn skills to help
