Being a kid, a teen, or even a parent can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
Hi, I’m Rachael! I specialize in working with kids and adolescents (ages 8–18), as well as their families and caregivers. Many of the young people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, stress, or big life changes. My goal is to meet clients where they’re at, make therapy approachable (even for those who may have had a hard time with it before) and collaborate on practical strategies that can be used in day-to-day life.
My practice is unique because I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where kids feel heard and understood, while also supporting caregivers so they feel equipped to help outside of sessions. In our first session, you can expect a comfortable pace where we focus on building trust, establishing goals, and starting with small, manageable steps.
While much of my work is with children and adolescents, I also support adults, including caregivers of kids with significant mental health needs, and LGBTQ2S+ identifying individuals. I provide gender-affirming, inclusive care, grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered.
