I have 15 years of experience working with individuals and families as psychotherapist, working with diverse populations in both New York and California, both in health clinic settings and private practice. I have a holistic and somatic foundation, based in my life long interest and study of ancient and modern healing practices. I have a personal yoga and mindfulness practice of many years, which helps to stay grounded and calm in these turbulent times.
Because of this, I am a psychotherapist whose orientation is not in just treating the symptoms of mental health, but in helping my clients resolve the root of their issues.
I use evidence based approaches that address the root of complex trauma, and which help my client find greater and longer-lasting relief than just symptom and behavioral managment alone. I specialize in treating complex and developmental trauma, through a lens of attachment theory.
I have trainings and certifications in the following:
Attachment-focused EMDR (AF-EMDR),
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
Internal Family Systems (IFS) and
Trauma Informed CBT .
In 2024, I completed post graduate training at the Integrative Psychiatric Institute in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. I now offer Ketamine Assisted Therapy in partnership with Journey Clinical.
