Groups
Pet Loss and Animal Companion Grief Group
Losing a pet is a deep, often misunderstood loss. The unconditional love and companionship they provide is rare and sacred. In this group, we elevate the significance of this loss and explore our relationship to grief with compassion. Together we create a container that is strong enough to hold grief in all its unique expressions. Over the course of six weeks, we gently deepen into an apprenticeship with grief using the teachings of Francis Weller as our guide. Each meeting provides a grounding practice, journal prompts, personal sharing, poetry, and an integration ritual. Online with optional in-person gathering.

Grief is meant to be felt and witnessed, not fixed. In this group, we explore our unique relationship to grief with curiosity and compassion. Together we create a container that is brave enough and strong enough to hold grief in all its expressions and forms. Over the course of two months, we gently deepen into an apprenticeship with grief using The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller as our guide. Each meeting provides a somatic grounding practice, journal prompts, personal sharing and witnessing, poetry, and an integration ritual. our next cohort gathers September-October.
