I became a therapist 6 years ago to help people, ages 6 to 100, become their best selves. My expertise is in: treating depression, bipolar and other mood disorders, PTSD, anxiety, trauma, reunification therapy, substance abuse, and court ordered therapy. By providing individualized and compassionate care, I am here to help clients overcome mental health issues, and to learn how to problem-solve on their own as they grow and begin to build a "life worth living." I meet people where they are and guide them as they begin understanding who they are and how they are the expert here, not me.
I offer empathetic, personalized care to each of my clients, creating a partnership as I build therapeutic connections with no judgements or prejudice. Existentialism underlies much of my practice but I use many therapeutic modalities. If we are unable to build a therapeutic relationship for any reason, I will help you find someone who can.
I understand the human condition, as much as one can, how it has changed over time yet the choices we make and experiences we have connect us all. I can separate the person from their circumstances and I am skilled at guiding my clients as they evolve.
