About
Welcome! Thank you for choosing to view my profile. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes there is profound power in the therapeutic relationship. I assist clients struggling with depression, anxiety and other mood/behavioral disorders. In addition, I work with families struggling to grow together due to poor communication skills. I've worked with a variety of clients such as adolescents and adults between the ages of 10 and 55 years old.
I graduated from Cleveland State University with a Masters of Education degree in Mental Health Counseling. My training has provided her the experience of working with a diverse, multicultural clientele, utilizing evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I enjoy collaborating with my clients to find the most helpful and personalized approach to meeting their therapeutic needs. If you think I could be a good fit for what you're looking for in a counselor, I invite you to email me at QwentellaSmith@MEWCOhio.com or go to MEWCOhio.com and select the contact for Qwentella.
