I am QuoVadis Washington Brown, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with 27 years of professional work experience. I am passionate about helping adults and adolescents (ages 16-17) with motivation, self-esteem, confidence, career difficulties, depression, and coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I aim to tailor my counseling dialogue and treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, but I am here to support you.
I earned my Master of Science in Counselor Education at Radford University. I utilize multiple treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and grounding techniques.
