Young adulthood can be challenging. I'll work with you to gain or deepen insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by exploring past experiences and identifying and working through symptoms and unhelpful patterns. I balance compassion with challenging my clients as they navigate worry, sadness, avoidance, procrastination, grief, apathy, negative thoughts, mood changes and more. I am inquisitive, direct and impartial and take time to get to know my clients as they get to know more about how and why they are who they are. We collaborate to create treatment goals that are realistic, manageable sustainable and meaningful.
I'm educated in and trained to use CBT, DBT, ACT, attachment, solution focused, compassion focused and multicultural approaches. My clients gain increased emotion regulation, stress response, interpersonal and communication effectiveness, awareness, trigger identification, symptom management and more.
I'm deeply empathic with an ability to use compassion, future-oriented thinking, and directness to guide and encourage you through the hard places so you can get through, and come out the other side.
