About
Over 10 years career experience. Opening oneself up to counseling and coaching is not easy. Our community continues to hold a stigma when it comes to “talking about our business” or living in fear of shaming our family. I challenge this thought because it is important for us to acknowledge the trauma and pain not only of our life but the generations that have come before us that is woven into our life perceptions. I meet my client in the space that they currently occupy and help to peel back the layers and work with the systems that have played a major role in their development. Living an authentic life begins with self-awareness.
I acknowledge multiple theoretical approaches to mental health informing our process. I tend to focus on narratives, challenging faulty beliefs systems and thought patterns, helping you to cultivate a life of gratitude and optimism, and live an authentic life filled with purpose & driven by passion. I’m intentional & conscious of healing the BIPOC community.
I invite you to make the choice to peel back the layers, explore unresolved trauma, decide not to question your identity, and take this journey that will not only impact you but generations before and after. Healing is NOT linear. It starts with One.
