I am a licensed clinical social worker, a professionally certified specialist in The Grief Recovery Method®, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have been in the helping profession for over thirty years, with more than twenty-years a licensed clinician. I strive to apply authenticity professionally, as I strive to personally. I believe together we will unleash the power and insight already within you. I applaud your courage to travel beyond the familiar, entering this journey with me. I believe you will not regret the choice you have now made. We will develop a plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
My primary practice approach is helping those experiencing grief and loss, particularly after traumatic loss(es)/experiences, e.g., homicide, suicide, disaster/public emergency, adjustment issues post-incarceration, domestic violence, and racial/gender hate. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and provide WPATH SOC7 services to those identifying as transgender.
My counseling style is warm, interactive, and person-centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I provide all services via a HIPAA compliant and secure web-based platform.
