Hello, my name is Valerie Noel, MS, NCC, LPC and the owner of Purposeful ‘U’ Counseling. I have been working in the mental health field for the past 20+ years. I have dedicated my professional life to promoting psychological well-being, advocating for vulnerable populations, and client centered care. Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of settings, community agencies, schools, and private practice. I have held supervisory and leadership roles, and mentored other counselors. I remain committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. I am licensed in Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
I I have extensive training in family systems therapy, and behavioral therapy. I am fully trained in EMDR and extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) experience working with a variety of mental health needs such as Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Crisis Management, ADHD, Grief, and Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating,
