About
Welcome and thank you for your interest in Pure. I know going to 'therapy' can trigger various emotions and judgement. That is why I utilize strategies to 'keep it simple' when navigating life's complex dynamics. I firmly believe YOU are the expert in your life, and I simply assist you to a more purposeful future. We can collaboratively implement a plan that works for you to get positive results and find relief. If you are interested in 'keeping it simple' and gaining awareness to yourself...I can assist.
For close to 10 years, I have gained experience working with kids of all ages and families on a variety of issues. My specialty, however, is in working with resistant teens with behavioral concerns, substance use, school issues, family disruption and other high-risk behaviors. My trauma informed skills allow rapport and safety to build a trusted atmosphere.
At Pure, I know the value of bringing families together and working with each individual at their own level. Healing the entire family system is the root of where you will see change, growth and relationships revived. 'Pure' defined: without any unnecessary elements. Pure Therapy...Nothing More. Looking forward to working with you. Dawn Cabrera, LMHC, MCAP
