Hello and Welcome! We live in a time of very high pressures and demands and finding the right balance can be extremely challenging at times. We lose balance because we fail to tap into our innate capacities and strengths as we move through life at the speed of light trying to juggle everything while not fully embracing or experiencing any given moment. Therapy is one modality in which you have an opportunity to sit down with an objective other to fully explore how the way you are relating to your environment or situation in life can make all the difference.
Our work in therapy will begin wherever you are right now; with whatever situation you may be facing no matter how threatening, overwhelming or seemingly hopeless. Our experience together will be interactive while I help you access your own inner wisdom by gently guiding you through compassion and support.
I lean towards an eclectic approach which includes Eastern and Western counseling theories and philosophies that complement each other. This integrative approach allows me to embrace the complexities that my clients bring rather than focusing on diagnosis or labels.
