I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address the thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions which may be obstacles to getting where you would like to be. I also rely heavily on Positive Psychology, which uses a strength-based approach (rather than a focus on problems). When working with Traumatic events, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Hi, I’m Julie. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, a veteran, and a mom of 2 neurodivergent boys. Raising my kids is like looking in a mirror﹣ it led me to pursue a formal evaluation for myself, and when I was diagnosed with ADHD, it helped me make sense of things in my own life.
