Over the past thirty years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, Post-concussive syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities, ASD, addiction, grief, and trauma. Recognizing that individuals experience stress in many aspects of their life and struggle with life's transitions, I work with children and adolescents transitioning through the stages of development and with adults facing marital, parenting, custody and relationship issues. I conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing to evaluate for mental health, academic, and neurological issues.

**Telehealth Available** COVID-19 has brought many sudden changes to day-to-day life, and this period of time has come with a great deal of stress for many. We have specialists that work with children, teens, and adults and we use evidence-based methods to help, whether it be through one-to-one therapy, parent training, or other services. We’re here to help you through this. We are all in this together. Our practice has moved to telehealth, which means that we are using a HIPAA compliant server to provide services to you in the safety of your own home. All of our services are now provided via video meetings.

Having had a diversity of experiences allows me a unique ability to approach helping others. Dr. Renata Martins is a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, and alcohol and substance use, in addition to other concerns. She has successfully helped patients cope with life challenges by individually tailoring her therapeutic approach and using evidence based techniques to meet their needs. As such, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches. I find that Psychodynamic Therapy can be particularly beneficial for those who have lost meaning in their lives or have difficulty forming or maintaining relationships.

I help people at all stages of life figure out those answers and use what they learn about themselves. There is no lasting change without first understanding. Through individual and group therapies, I help people recognize their unique patterns. I perform Court Ordered Services to include Child Custody Evaluations, Parenting Time Plans, Reunification Therapy, and Mental Health Assessments.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT is what I study, practice, research and teach. Psychodiagnostics, my practice based Northern New Jersey with additional sites in Morristown and Montclair, exclusively evaluates and explains, diagnoses and describes. Assessments assemble upwards of twenty standardized, computerized, and objective tests into customized batteries designed to answer referral questions, discriminate among disorders and provide descriptions of persons and problems. In addition to differentially diagnosing mental health disorders, Psychodiagnostics provides independent child study team evaluations, data-driven rule-outs for ADHD and Autism, competency, guardianship and similar legal evaluations, and also assessments relevant to accommodations for the PSAT/SAT/GRE/LSAT.
