Dr. Nosen has been providing evidence-based assessment and therapy since 2005. She specializes in treating adults experiencing anxiety, posttraumatic stress, depression, insomnia, alcohol and substance use. She primarily works from a cognitive-behavioral approach, tailoring treatments to help you develop insight, learn new ways of coping, and plan strategic changes to help you meet your personal goals. Dr. Nosen is trained in several specialized types of therapy protocols.

I work collaboratively with you in neutralizing the traumatic events in your past that hijack your present and diminish your future happiness. I specialize in change management, helping clients to cope with change or take the necessary steps to make a change. I have worked with adults in addressing various life challenges – anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, grief, and abuse. This work is about mindset shift and creating lifestyle transformation.

The client-therapist relationship is very important in this process and one that begins at first contact. Though I practice at a Christian counseling center, religion and/or faith will not be a topic of discussion unless you initiate it. I'd be glad to hear from you.
