I provide answers when you’re concerned that you or your child may have a learning disability, like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or social emotional disorders. As a licensed educational psychologist I provide psychoeducational evaluations / assessments and IEEs which can be utilized by parents and clients to create 504 plans, IEP's, and university testing and workplace accommodations. I enjoy working with all types of teens, adults, couples and seniors. To me everyone is unique, interesting and capable even when they feel like their life is at its worst or they are in their darkest times. I believe clients are doing the best they can so counseling should be educational, empowering and at times even fun to achieve their goals. I primarily do cognitive behavioral and supportive therapy, but from my years of practice and training i can draw on a combination of healing approaches to change unwanted circumstances, feelings, thoughts and behaviors as soon and permanently as possible.

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD. from Biola University) with previous training as a Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT from Fuller Theological Seminary). I have a passion for providing professional Psychological services as well as Christian counseling to those who are suffering. I completed a total of six years of graduate training at two of the six American Psychological Association (APA) approved Christian clinical psychology programs. Both of these institutions are committed to the development of practitioners adept in the integration of Psychology and Christian theology in clinical practice and research.

I am the owner of California Spectrum Services. We provide psychological and behavioral services for individuals on the the autism spectrum as well as those that are not on the spectrum. Dr. Janet Clark works with me and provides counseling services to individuals 12 years and older. Dr. Clark addresses issues related to anxiety, depression, adjustment, mediation, and trauma, among others. Dr. Clark specializes in EMDR, Internal Family Systems and CBT.

Although I'm not accepting new counseling clients at the moment due to a full caseload, I continue to welcome new clients for diagnostic evaluations for Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, and more- for ages ranging from 2 years to adults. She has specific training in the area of autism assessment, as well as years of experience evaluating older adults presenting with neurocognitive disorders (dementia). I work primarily with men who have hit “rock bottom” and would like help getting up. These men are often in crisis when we first meet. The issues I address are typically related to unhealthy sexual behaviors, infidelity, financial recklessness, gambling, drugs/alcohol, dishonesty/lying, and relational conflicts. My therapy approach is a combination of psychoanalytic, cognitive-behavioral, and the 12-Step recovery model. I also share insight from my own painful but redemptive recovery journey.

My practice is focused on psychological testing, assessment, & evaluation. In these areas, I have extensive experience working with the entire lifespan, from infancy to older adulthood. We are a group of Licensed Educational Psychologists and other mental health professionals who work mainly with children and adolescents managing psychological issues or disabilities impacting their academic and social success.
