I am a Clinical Neuropsychologist with expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of cognitive changes from a variety of neurologic disorders including traumatic brain injury (TBI), Stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, FTD, Multiple Sclerosis, and Epilepsy. Prior to moving back to Ohio and establishing an independent practice, I was the Director of Neuropsychology at the Yale School of Medicine Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. I have conducted several independent medical evaluations (IMEs) and have testified as an expert witness in multiple TBI cases. I consult for multiple neurorehabilitation facilities throughout Ohio.

Being a kid is no easy feat! As a School Psychologist, I work to create a partnership that addresses challenges, and differences and helps teach new skills. I provide comprehensive evaluations for diagnostic clarity related to Autism, ADHD, Giftedness, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, and Depression. In addition to assessment, I provide individual counseling for children experiencing anxiety, difficulties with impulse control, social skills, and executive functioning challenges. I also partner with parents for behavior support, especially for toddlers and kids. I am a fierce advocate for LGBTQIA+ youth and their families.

I am an Operations Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, serving as a Healthcare Specialist/Combat Medic and Medical Section Sergeant. In addition to personal experience and passion, I have further developed expertise in the treatment of trauma and First Responders and Veterans as a Certified Psychological First Aid Provider by the National Center for Traumatic Stress. I work with a wide range of conditions with individuals 18 years of age and older.

I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be empowered by life's obstacles which we all must face. No one should feel alone in a storm. I understand that clients want to feel heard with a sense of empathy and understanding. I have provided trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, behavioral modification, and emotional support for managing mental health symptoms. I create a safe space for my clients to express their feelings and I provide positive feedback.

Both in office sessions or video sessions are available I provide Psychological Counseling and Psychological Testing for ages 6 - 80+. I treat individuals, couples, and families. I have a passion for treating Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia, Phobias, OCD, PTSD, Military Veterans, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and working with communication skills, intimacy, couples/marriages and families. I emphasize natural and alternative approaches toward treatment for those who do not want to be on medication, Christian Counseling (but will honor your own beliefs and not impose mine), and also provide Life Coaching.
