I enjoy working with individuals and their families through a strength-based perspective to not only address weaknesses, but foster strengths. I believe there is no "one size fits all" model, and by collaboratively working together, goals can be identified, evidenced-based practices can begin, and progress can be monitored. I work with clients to address an array of concerns, including anxiety, depression, family conflict, school difficulties, behavioral difficulties, social skills, organization and executive functioning difficulties, and other adjustment concerns. I also complete comprehensive assessments to address learning, attention and a mix of social, emotional and behavioral challenges.

I love helping people see new possibilities and opportunities in their life when previously they had faced difficulties, either in their external world or their internal world. I think it is incredibly meaningful to be able to support a client or a family in the process of trying new approaches to what had previously seemed to be an "impossible" situation. I also love learning about how to make our brains "work" better in our relationships, families, schools, workplaces, and other important social areas!

I specialize in the assessment and treatment of behavioral, emotional, and learning disorders with children, adolescents and college students. Using the Response to Intervention (RtI) model I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals overcome their difficulities at school, home, and in the community. During the past 20 years I have developed and administered Cognitive-Behavioral interventions that have helped elementary, middle and high school students, and college students overcome issues related to anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD/Executive Function, learning, and social skills.

We specialize in individual & couples therapy. The answers are within and will unfold in the warm, empathy filled environment where a client centered focus is key. Developing coping skills to manage symptoms of Depression, Anxiety and PTSD are key components to therapy, too. We also offer Rapid Trauma Resolution Therapy/IQ & personality testing so parents/individuals may gain a deeper understanding of child-teens and/or self to guide in better life decision making for goals and problem solving. I work with school-age children (Pre-K to 12th grade) and their families to help identify areas of need and develop strategies to promote student success at school and in life. Many students may find it difficult to maintain attention and focus, meet behavioral expectations in the classroom, overcome anxiety, interact with their peers, or make adequate academic progress. Parents often feel the emotional impact of these challenges as they support their children navigating through them. My aim is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where all students and families feel supported in reaching their goals.
