Therapist focusing on trauma, skill building, and mediation. I believe mental health is simple, yet it can be frustrating because it is also complex. Too often we look for magical or quick fixes for problems when the solutions are very common. Usually it is a number of things that create the problem, not just one contributor and often our society treats the symptom not the cause. As a society we should be focusing on preventative health, getting in front of the problem, and not waiting until it has already occurred to seek help. Having said that... there is always a solution, it just may not be what you expected.

I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. This includes working with chronic worry, panic, health anxiety, social anxiety, trauma-related anxiety, and the full spectrum of OCD presentations. My work is grounded in helping clients develop a different relationship with anxiety and intrusive thoughts—one that reduces avoidance, compulsive behaviors, and emotional reactivity, while increasing resilience, self-trust, and engagement in meaningful life activities.

Every person who walks into therapy is already doing something brave. Maybe you're a kid who dreads going to school, a teen who feels like their anxiety is running the show, or a young adult trying to figure out who they are and why everything feels so hard. Maybe you're a parent watching your child struggle and feeling helpless to fix it. Whatever brought you here, something in your life feels too heavy to carry alone, and you're ready for things to feel different. My goal is simple; I hope you leave each session feeling more understood than when you walked in, by yourself and by me.

I work with individuals who have faced trauma, abuse, and/or neglect throughout their lives. They are people who may feel chronic emptiness, internal conflict, activated emotions, and have trouble letting things go. They are individuals who also deal with low self-esteem and feelings of defectiveness, shame or guilt. They come to therapy seeking support to process and understand themselves, and to create new patterns and behaviors in their lives. They want to find thriving, capacity and deeper empowerment; looking for support, integrated care, and honesty.
