Announcement icon During this time of increased demands, I'm currently unable to take new clients. Please contact me if you'd like to be added to my waitlist.
I welcome clients who see themselves aligned with values in my profile, especially those who have been frustrated with other therapists, or who hold marginalized identities and are seeking emotional connection and justice. I support children and adults who want to find peace and better balance in life. I have experience helping with emotional and behavioral difficulties, parenting concerns, and trauma/abuse. I also specialize in working with immigrant and minority groups (South Asian, Asian, African-American, Latino, bi/multiracial individuals) who would like to find a healthy community, redefine success and reset default behaviors.
I serve on faculty, as an Associate Instructional Professor at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, and bring my knowledge of social work theory to practice, utilizing a humanistic, anti-oppressive, trauma-centered approach. I also provide professional supervision/consultation to MSW students and graduates.
I am a bicultural, bilingual individual who has lived and worked in the US and abroad. What I have learned is that no matter where people come from, they want to live the best way possible, and understand themselves within their environment. Working within your culture and beliefs, we can achieve change in a way that respects you.
