My life philosophy is simple. I approach life with dedication, integrity and a sense of humor. The latter always comes in handy. While a native Californian, I’ve been lucky enough to have lived in three different countries and have learned that no matter the land or language, people crave love and union. People are waiting to tell their story, be heard and accepted.

I partner with clients to improve relationship satisfaction; to understand and change patterns; to reclaim a sense of well-being. Stress and anxiety are often at play. Many clients notice that childhood wounds continue to impact their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I listen with empathy and compassion and work collaboratively - to help you find growth, new insight and enhanced life satisfaction.

As a licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 12 years experience in the mental health field, my goal is to help individuals, couples and families to sort through difficult personal or work related issues. Shame, anxiety, overwhelming stress and relationship difficulties can disrupt our ability to live a mindful and conscious life. Working with adults and adolescents to promote acceptance, empathy and compassion is my primary interest and the approach I take in therapy. I also have experience and a passion for working with clients who are struggling with Eating Disorders and body image issues. I feel that the energy between therapist and client is the first step in healing emotional wounds and promoting positive changes.

During the past 30 years of working as a psychotherapist, I have helped people with anxiety, depression, loss, relationship and work issues, and often just a general sense that something isn't right. As a Jungian and relational therapist, I am empathic, nonjudgemental, nonpatholgizing, and deeply interested in the uniqueness of each human being who comes to me. Warm and down-to-earth, I enjoy exploring deeper levels of experience but can be practical and provide suggestions and tools when that is what is needed.

The workload is still extremely demanding and anxiety producing but these days, that's it's all you do, as it's motivated by your Imposter Syndrome. You’re often annoyed with your PI, partner or friends over things that end up bothering you for the rest of the month. You find relief by going through the motions of scrolling the Internet, gaming, and Netflix binging but even that's getting old.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in therapy. I see therapy as a sacred space to work through the underlying issues that keep us stuck in our suffering. I deeply enjoy working along side individuals and families as they come to find healing from old wounds and a better sense of identity, peace, happiness and fulfillment.
