Groups
DBT Groups for Adults and Young Adults
Group members learn to observe and accept their emotional and mental experiences through mindfulness practices. Individuals learn to tolerate difficult feelings without acting impulsively. Group members discuss difficulties and successes in their lives and explore strategies to solve problems. Through the use of coping skills, clients get along better with others by learning to more effectively ask for what they want and set healthy boundaries in their relationships. Group members learn to feel happier and enjoy their lives through building confidence and self-esteem. Denver DBT group for adults meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Group
This group offers clients the opportunity to develop more effective communication strategies and a deeper understanding of oneself in relationship to others. Through long term group relationships, members explore their unconscious, habitual patterns that interfere with their ability to connect well with others and practice new, more constructive ways of relating. Clients experience significant and meaningful changes in their lives outside of group through the shifts that occur in the group. These groups are held on Wednesday mornings, 7:05am - 8:30am and Thursdays from 5:10pm to 6:30pm.
