She is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, & families address their unique challenges in a culturally responsive manner that is aware of the impact of social structures. Anjum is the daughter of immigrants and has navigated the dichotomy of being born in the U.S. and having an ethnic minority identity. This—coupled with her interest in social justice, mental health, feminism, and community—has widened her perspective on mental health treatment. Anjum specializes in trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship issues, and addiction/recovery.
