I offer individual therapy, consultations, and home visits. Therapy topics I work with are (but not limited to): Depression, anxiety (all mood disorders), relationship issues, divorce, stress management, trauma, caregiver stress and fatigue, living with dementia, self-esteem, coping skills, and life transition. I also offer clinical supervision to social workers looking to obtain clinical licensure.

I use methods that examine the root causes of behavioral and emotional patterns which lead to depression, anxiety, alcohol dependence, substance abuse, thought distortions, relationship attachments, erectile dysfunction, or vaginal anesthesia. Where medication is ineffective, intensive therapy sessions have the power to change the paralyzing state of our psychological and physical condition. The causes may be situational, easily detected, but others may be deeper, stored in our rigidified muscles, buried in the remote recess of our minds.

I have 25+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have worked with individuals as well as families and couples. The experience I have is multi-faceted. I have direct, clinical experience working in the areas of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse, Dementia, adoption and family systems. I have worked in an educational, community, and a psychiatric hospital setting.

I have been in healthcare as a mental health professional for over 35 years. As an integrative psychotherapist I combine both science and a broad spectrum of spiritual philosophies and practices. My ideal clients are facing challenges in relationships, emotional regulation and behavioral addiction. I have 12 years experience in counseling and have been in private practice for 3 years. I offer a warm and supportive (virtual) environment where clients feel heard and understood. Together we explore interactions in relationships, old personal narratives and develop skillful practices and responses. We discover childhood connections, "parts" and faulty feedback loops, all while aimed at the goal of integration into a more accepting state of being. My approach is experiential, DBT supported and IFS/Attachment informed.
