I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with several years of experience. I've volunteered with several community agencies in the past in the areas of domestic violence, trauma, and family dynamic including improving familial relationships and communication. I have experiencing working with children, adolescents, adults and families in regards to mental health issues, trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, parenting, marital/family conflict, stress management, school issues, communication, self-esteem in a healthy way using a cognitive behavioral approach.

Over 25 years working with individuals and families. Over 18 years providing supervision to other mental health professionals and interns. My goal is to help you resolve emotional trauma or confusion, in a compassionate and non judgmental way. I am exp. in working with individuals coping with life-altering circumstances and illness, mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, recovery, grief and loss, relationship stressors, and spiritual crisis. I also specialize in relationship counseling, trauma and recovery issues such as sexual abuse. I am experienced serving those with medical issues-HIV/AIDS, Breast cancer, PTSD and phobias. I'm also experienced serving military families and veterans.

I consider myself a relational therapist and believe it is a privilege to sit with people while dealing with life's challenges. Through a multi-discipline approach, integrating the practice of healthy social-emotional strategies, relational repair and positive psychology, I assist the client in their pursuit of personal growth & resolution. I work with people of all ages, individuals, couples, and families. I have a unique specialization with co-parenting dynamics and children five and under as a trained Infant Mental Health Specialist through the Harris Institute of The FSU Center for Prevention and Early Intervention Policy.
