............ Fear, Sadness, Loneliness, Past traumas, Memory concerns, Relationship problems, Worries and anxiety, Feelings of anger and aggression, Attention and concentration problems, Intellectual and developmental challenges, Feeling out of sorts or like life is not worth living ............These are problems in living. All of us encounter some of them at some point in our lives. They occur in childhood, adolescence and throughout adulthood. We may experience them personally or see them in those we love.
There are logical explanations for problems in living. Sometimes they lie in experiences we have had and what those have taught us to do, feel, and think. Sometimes they lie in our bodies and how biology influences how we deal with life. Sometimes they lie in the experience/biology interaction.
Each client is assessed thoroughly to uncover the likely explanations for the unique problems in living he/she is having. Then, we plan scientifically supported therapeutic experiences. These seek to remedy the effects of past experiences, help cope with biological predispositions, and teach new ways to engage in fulfilling living.
