I am licensed in Texas with 5 years of professional counseling experience. I like to get to know my clients and understand the barriers they are experiencing and the outcomes they wish to manifest in their lives. I listen carefully about their experiences and look to help find positive solutions to their different life challenges. I am open to exploring any topics without passing judgement and implementing the most person-centered techniques that will lead to positive outcomes.

I have more than twenty five years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in individual, marital, family, and groups in the field of counseling health services. My experience includes consulting in inpatient psychiatric and hospitals, medical/surgical hospitals, nursing homes, pain management clinics, and private practice. I also specialize in career testing and counseling for high school students, college students, and in career transition for adults. I have served as a psychologist and director of a Christian counseling center for eight years and as a psychologist and manager for the employee assistance program for Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.

With 12 years experience at Psychiatric hospitals and 20 yrs in private practice, I am excited to teach couples creative skills and resources to change and grow healthy relationships. We take inventory of relationship needs, learn and practice effective communication skills to manage stress with intimacy, family, career and parenting. I have worked with a diverse set of populations providing trauma therapy and neurofeedback therapy. Throughout my career, I have built trauma-focused programs at different mental health organizations. With a passion for working with combat veterans, I have also been a contracted Neurofeedback clinician with the Lone Survivor Foundation to serve those that served our nation. I led a trauma team in the Santa Fe District to implement systems and provide trauma-wellness counseling services to students and staff in the district in response to the May 18th mass violence tragedy at Santa Fe High School.
