Making the step toward change can be very difficult. Beginning therapy can be intimidating but it is a courageous act. My name is Kristen Mitchell, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am here to support you in your journey of becoming your best self.

Specializing in mental health and addiction, dual diagnosis , codependency, marital counseling and groups. We have five locations in Riverhead ,Manhatten, East Hampton, Southampton and Lindenhurst. We are providing telehealth .

I utilize a variety of approaches in my work with clients, while tailoring each treatment plan to the individual and incorporating the goals that each person brings to treatment. Each person is unique and that is why I choose an integrative approach in my work. I incorporate both interpersonal and psychodynamic modalities with cognitive behavioral treatments in an effort to target both insight building and positive behavioral changes.

A client that works with me may struggle with substance abuse, dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse), anxiety, depression, family issues, adjustment issues, ADHD, chronic pain and other concerns. Many times clients will struggle with panic, feelings of being overwhelmed in their current situations and need support, feel lack of motivation, are using substances that interrupt their goals/cause issues in relationships. Other concerns may include having a hard time managing daily life expectations, going through a break up, relationship issues. These clients are looking for a solution and skills to manage these concerns.

GateHouse Treatment is a private addiction treatment facility providing intervention and addiction treatment services to people suffering from substance use disorders and individuals with co-occurring mental health issues. We offer treatment in a serene setting, and our staff has decades of experience treating substance abuse in those struggling with substance abuse. We provide therapy in a gender-specific environment. GateHouse offers the only comprehensive vocational program in New England.

My ideal clients are individuals suffering from behavioral disorders (addiction and mental disorders), who are willing to get help through the treatment services we provide. They represent a person who requires resources such as learning to build the coping skills necessary to better manage their conditions and maintain sobriety long-term.

Marisol is a licensed Social Worker who specializes in mental health and wellness. She obtained her Master's of Social Work at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dwoarak-peck School of Social Work, and started her career in California, which allowed her to work with individuals from all backgrounds. She has gained clinical experience working in dual diagnosis treatment centers, long-term mental health treatment centers, and private practice. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, such as DBT, CBT, ERP, and I-CBT.

We all have the ability to heal from our pain. I am committed to reducing suffering and fostering hope. Studies confirm the most positive outcome from therapy is based on the strength of the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create an empathic, safe, honest and collaborative environment where you are supported and deeply understood. I have successfully treated depression, anxiety, trauma, complicated grief, PTSD, dual diagnosis, and a broad spectrum of disorders. I believe part of this success is my focus on you as a person - not solely on the issue or disorder. It is possible to lead a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker and have been working with clients ages 14 and up for the last fourteen years. I started as a Domestic Violence Advocate in 2008 and received both my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master Degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College. I interned as a Social Worker at Strong Memorial Partial Hospitalization for Teens and at Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse. I work with individuals, couples, as well as families who have a history of domestic violence, trauma, depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, and those who have experienced bullying.

Kristina DeLuccia is a licensed mental health counselor. Clients come to Kristina looking for a provider who can help navigate through individual and unique life challenges. She will welcome you with warmth and empathy from the moment you begin therapy to the last session. Kristina believes therapy should be a place where you can better understand yourself and ultimately reach your goals. Sessions with Kristina are person-centered, so you can feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. She will meet you where you are to help guide you through whatever challenges you are facing both big and small.

Jacob Yohay is a licensed clinical social worker. Jacob is a compassionate and kind provider, he works patiently but tirelessly with clients to help them achieve their goals. He has experience with many types of therapy, but never tries to fit his clients into any particular therapeutic box. He believes we are all complex, multifaceted individuals who are always richer and more complicated than any theory can fully capture. Clients go to Jacob looking for a provider who creates a warm, welcoming, judgment-free space. He treats clients ages 16 - 65 years old.
