Abby is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Tennessee and Georgia and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. Abby graduated from Richmont Graduate University in 2012 with a Masters in Professional Counseling and a Specialization in Trauma Counseling. She has since continued her education in Trauma counseling with training in a variety of Trauma Processing methods, healing attachment following Trauma, and military culture. Abby specializes in seeing people of all ages with a history of trauma or abuse, including rape, childhood abuse, combat PTSD, and more, as well as assisting couples with relational and communication issues.

I have over 50 years experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I am certified in distance counseling and TN law now requires insurance coverage. I work with anxiety disorders, including panic attacks, PTSD, and phobias; depression and bipolar disorders; all kinds of substance abuse disorders; parenting problems; marital problems and couples counseling, including LGBT issues. I am retired from the U.S. Army, and am familiar with the problems of being in both military and law enforcement professions.

My goal is to provide my clients with a safe non-judgemental space to grow emotionally. Together we are able to create individual unique plans that allow individuals and families to function in their desired capacity.

Tony is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has extensive experience treating both first responders and military personnel and their dependents for trauma-related issues as well as a host of other concerns. Tony and his family reside in West Knoxville and he is well versed in the Tennessee culture having been raised in East Tennessee. In addition to an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Tony earned a Master of Divinity and served for over 15 years in the pastoral setting. From his broad academic and experiential background he brings to the clinical setting a wealth of wisdom and skill with a unique perspective.
