At The Cognitive Refinery we do things a little differently. We are not your typical therapists and typical therapy is not our goal. Our aim is to provide direct and effective therapy to help you create the change you need in your life. I specialize working with clients that struggle with trauma and PTSD. I utilize Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have several hours of training and experience working with survivors of trauma. I provide couples therapy using Gottman Method. My goal is to help clients go from surviving to thriving.

I utilize multiple models in the counseling experience: Advanced Accelerated Resolution; ART, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral and Play Therapies. I apply Therapeutic Art Techniques to the treatment process. I also have had real life experiences dealing and overcoming life stressors of my own. I offer Mental Health, ADHD and Parenting Assessments/ Classes.
