Confidential Care is a private psychiatric and mental health agency dedicated to providing the highest quality therapeutic mental health services to aid individuals, couples, and families through their most difficult and challenging times. Through therapeutic services, the individual will receive emotional support, work to resolve conflicts with people, understand feelings and problems, and try out new solutions to old problems. Confidential Care offers medication management by our psychiatric nurse practitioner and comprehensive counseling services by our therapists.

At the heart of pain psychology, I believe in listening to the patient’s pain narrative and taking the time to hear their story of how pain began and developed over the course of time, and how it has impacted their every day functioning. Hi. My name is Dr. Sherri L. Scott and I am passionate to work with you in your quest for wellness and to overcome challenges that you and/or your family may be experiencing. My professional credentials are Licensed Psychological Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed and Ordained Minister. Over 30 plus years my expertise in behavioral health services has been honed to provide Clinical Therapy, Clinical Supervision and Education in correctional, psychiatric residential treatment, university and community outpatient settings.

As a former teacher of children with special needs, I am keenly aware of the challenges and rewards that families of children with special needs face. My experience, education, and training gives me a unique perspective and I believe the ability to be assistance to families and children who are facing those unique rewards and challenges.

I like to work with families, including children of all ages. I also work with individual adults and occasional couples. I also like to work with military families. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and have even tried some of this therapy style with adolescents. I am also trained in perinatal mood disorders.

Veronica Maldonado is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Willow, Alaska, who offers non-traditional hours, works with individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on trauma and PTSD. Many of her clients struggle to feel connected in their relationships or at peace in their lives. Veronica is particularly sensitive to clients facing negative responses to traumatic life experiences, moments of transition, like combat, emergency responders chronic exposure, death, suicide, a move to the city, job loss, or breakup, when the delicate balance can seem to tremble, and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt can emerge.

I have been an LMFT since 1993. During that time I've had both education and experience with many of the issues we encounter as we pass through our lives. Couples, individuals and teens are the majority of my practice. We work on relationship problems, divorce and co-parenting, anxiety and depression and parent-child problems. I also have training and experience working with clients with sexual concerns and Active Duty Military, families and Veterans. I am currently accepting telephonic and video clients in Oregon. Telehealth has been extensively researched and found to have similar positive results as face-to-face.
