As I therapist I am laid back yet positive and goal oriented. I would like to teach my potential clients skills to improve their quality of life not to be dependent on the therapist. As a Christian Counselor, I most often work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, and/or spiritual concerns. I have over 30 years of professional experience specializing in marital, family, and individual counseling with adolescents and adults. I am blessed to be in practice with my husband, Dr. Ab Abercrombie, and we often work together when counseling couples and families.

We work with a variety of clients and issues, using a person-centered and solution-focused approach. We believe the client determines the focus of therapy, and although we are trained counselors, we respect our clients' knowledge of themselves and their needs. For 15+ years, I've passionately supported individuals, groups, and families as a counselor, fostering a secure environment for them to address life's challenges. Joleena is Certified in the Treament of Sexual Addiction, is a Certified Betrayal Trauma Coach, a Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist, with a Masters of Psychology in Grief Counseling, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Joleena specializes in helping couples working through betrayal and addiction of all kinds. She also works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. Her passion is to provide a safe space for her clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

Mrs. Sapp is trained in EMDR and is eager to continue her professional development in the area of EMDR with children, adolescents, and teens. Mrs. Sapp enjoys the therapeutic benefit of engaging clients in walk-and-talk therapy while utilizing ACA's facility dogs. Her mission is to empower children, teens, and their families to overcome personal obstacles and improve their quality of life. She is passionate about the impact of counseling during childhood and adolescent years.

Brandon Adair is a licensed professional counselor who earned his master’s in clinical psychology from Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL. He has over twenty years in the inpatient / counseling field with his key focuses being in the areas of marriage and family counseling, addiction, anxiety, depression, daily stressors, PTSD, developing coping strategies, and men’s issues. Brandon’s therapy approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, solution focused, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology. Brandon welcomes individual, couples, and families, including adolescents.

I have a special interest in counseling male clients age 13 and up. I also specialize in seeing women who prefer to see a male counselor. Helping men with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life events, and helping them navigate the world through the male perspective is a passion of mine. I help men break the stigma of therapy to get the help they need and deserve. I help clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, addiction, anger management, family conflict, communication, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship problems, and many more.
