PRN Counseling's Groups

Middle School Girls Group

This ongoing, weekly group will teach girls in 6th-8th grades ways to manage their mood, develop tools to cope with stress & give them a safe place to talk about things that might be standing in the way of their happiness or success. Your child will learn about: Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) and how to apply it to your life, Mindfulness Strategies, Goal Setting, Improving Self-Esteem Stress Management and Self-Care Intake session with parents/guardians and teen required prior to joining group (Insurance may cover intake costs only). This group will give you the chance to talk through your concerns/frustrations with peers & help you learn to survive senior year & your first year away!
