About
Are you struggling to communicate in your relationships? Is it difficult to express what you are feeling effectively during periods of emotional stress within your relationship? Does your anxiety or depression keep you from being social or completing everyday tasks? Are negative and/or anxious thoughts causing you to feel stuck and unmotivated?
I utilize a specialized trauma treatment Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) that assist clients in processing memories and decreasing symptoms such as hopelessness, sadness, anger and stress. When working with couples I focus on creating a space were each person can feel heard and validated even in difficult moments.
As a retired military spouse for over 28 years and working mother of three (2 adults, 1 teen) I understand the challenges of balancing family, life and work. We all hit a bump in the road at some point. How we choose to move forward is what's important through life. Every step is important, if we remember, even the small things have value too!
