I provide a nurturing and open-minded environment for clients to heal their emotional wounds, grow in their goals and excel throughout life trajectory. My diverse background awards me the opportunity to understand complex trauma, facilitate cultural awareness and bring to light inner strengths. Being Puerto Rican, I understand wholly the importance of cultural diversity, folklore and traditions. Understanding Afro-Latino roots and heritage can be a large part of belonging and healing. Goals include: Healing from childhood trauma; Relationship Issues, Immigration, Healing from Codependency, Addiction related issues.
Clients can expect a warm, understanding and patient environment with feedback and techniques to practice between sessions. Therapy is an individual process, and the pace of reaching therapeutic goals are based on the comfort and acceptance of the client. I graduated with a master's in social work from Fordham University. I am also a current PhD student.
