Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from Texas Woman's University and have been practicing for 8 years. I help individuals find greater life satisfaction by finding better ways of coping with the distressful symptoms that can arise from psychological discord. I try to create an environment that is inviting and nonjudgemental to foster rapport with my clients.
I have worked with individuals from various backgrounds, and have found that each person simply wants to feel accepted and loved unconditionally. I believe I have been able to create an environment where an individual can be themselves and commit to the process of identifying and changing maladaptive patterns of coping.
I love working with individuals who struggle expressing their emotions or find that they are misunderstood by others. They have a longing to belong, but struggle to foster secure relationships with others. They may feel insecure and struggle to cope with their emotions.
