Our parents, elders, teachers, healthcare providers, people of color, femme folks, and those with many other identities hold so much in our society. While these responsibilities can be beautiful, they are often overwhelming as we navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, struggles with attachment and connection, and other stressors.

I strongly believe in the transformative power of relationships and recognize that change often occurs through meaningful connections. Specializing in working with individuals experiencing mood changes during the perinatal period, I focus on fertility/conception, adoption, pregnancy and infant loss, postpartum depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. I approach my work with intentionality and flexibility, embracing imperfections and validating the complexities of life and the systems individuals navigate. I empower my clients to navigate challenges and embrace their resilience, firmly believing that we can do hard things.

One of the early questions I ask a new client is, "where are you hoping this relationship will take you?". For some, the answer to this question is clear. They imagine a life where their anxiety or depressive symptoms no longer get in the way of attending school or work, spending time with friends and enjoying their days. Others hope for a time when they feel physically and emotionally well enough to enjoy each day. Many people struggle with a vision for their future. Often, the path behind us is full of wrong turns or the path ahead feels full of obstacles. Regardless of where you are, I will join with you and support your journey.

I'm an attachment-focused and trauma-informed psychotherapist with a curious mind, open heart, and hearty sense of humor. I believe that therapy should feel nourishing and meaningful - and the effects should be transformative. As a Narrative, Mindfulness, Sandtray, and IFS trained therapist, I helps clients “re-author” their lives — often using experiential and expressive arts activities or guided ‘parts’ exercises in order to make space for new ways of thinking and understanding.

There are many approaches to addressing the state of life we find ourselves living in. I practice holistic integrative care that addresses the whole person - mind, body, spirit. Healing is a journey, in which I offer support by creating, establishing and maintaining open and direct relationships with clients. My goal is to assist in bringing balance, and restoring energy and passions through traditional therapies or energy based interventions. My focus is to help individuals, couples and families acknowledge the strengths they have and to bring relief to defeating beliefs and behaviors.

I am specialized in areas around women's health and mental health experiences, including perinatal wellness( pregnancy, birth and postpartum), attachment, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss. Parenthood and the path to parenthood releases symptoms we never expected, and old wounds that we never thought would surface and rupture. I believe mental health is your intrinsic right. I work to support my clients through a variety of topics including: relationship choices, women's issues, anxiety, social anxiety, depression and life transitions retirement, job transition, divorce, sexual identity, moving, death, and infertility. I also have of 13 years experience working with youth ages 12-18 in a variety of topics. I believe that all people at some point in their life feel stuck, and therapy is a process to help a person feel unstuck through self-discovery, self-awareness, learning, and sometimes through practicing new ways of thinking and/or new behaviors.
