Amanda L. Harmon, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor. She graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a MA in Counseling, specializing in the fields of mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy. Amanda is a certified Mental Health Specialist and Child Mental Health Specialist, and has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a focus on Trauma Focused-CBT and childhood traumatic grief through Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress.

Kylie is a licensed mental health counselor, licensed marriage and family counselor, and licensed chemical dependency counselor. She brings a high level of expertise, clinical experience, and a big heart to NW Family Psychology in helping children, adolescents, and their families work through tough issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, school failure, peer bullying, mood swings, parent-child conflicts, procrastination, failure to launch syndrome, etc.

Nancy Heilman, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty-five years of experience working with children, teens, and families. Clinical treatment methods have included family therapy and parenting skills training, individual therapy for children and adolescents utilizing cognitive-behavioral interventions and skills-training.Specialties include anxiety and adjustment disorders, brain injury, neuro-developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and chronic and terminal illness. Her clinical approach is primarily evidenced based, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, developmental, and neuro-biological in nature.

Lucy Banic, LMHCA, was initially trained and educated in British Columbia, Canada, and has been a mental health counselor in Washington state since 2017. She earned her BA in Psychology from Simon Fraser University in 2010, and then her MA in Clinical Counseling at City University, Seattle, Washington, in 2014. Lucy has received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress, as well as has experience in using components of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, emotion-focused, and expressive art therapy techniques.

Cesario Larios, MA, LMHCA is a Clinical Psychology PsyD doctoral student at Antioch University Seattle. He is in his fifth year of training, which has encompassed both clinical applications in therapy as well as psychological assessment. During his doctoral training with NW Family Psychology, Cesario works with clients seeking either therapy or psychological assessment. Cesario has worked with people placed in state institutions, outpatient psychiatric clinics, schools, and universities.

Ashley loves working with adolescents, teens, adults, and couples presenting with diverse challenges in life. She recognizes that daily struggles often start to feel like battles, and her goal in her sessions is to foster a space for clients where they can let down their armor, study it, polish it, and feel more at peace beneath it. Ashley values holding clients accountable without judging them and challenging clients without belittling them. She loves working with clients who will come as they are, who will voice opinions, and enjoy collaborating!

I know sharing your struggles with someone can be difficult and scary. It takes courage to allow someone to join you in your healing journey. I have experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, residential facilities. I have worked with individuals ages 4-87 from a variety of different cultural and religious backgrounds. Over the past 30 years, Dr. Rutberg-Self has specialized in child/adolescent testing, primarily for assessing learning and behavioral problems, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, autism, and complex mood disorders. These assessments are comprehensive in nature and involve intelligence, academic, personality, and neuropsychological batteries. Dr. Rutberg-Self also conducts classroom observations and consults with multiple parties, such as teachers, pediatricians, counselors, etc. These evaluations are often critical for generating the accommodations children and teens need in school, as par of IEP and 504 plans.

Angela Lujan, LMHC, CMHS, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist.
