My counseling experience includes treating adolescents, adults, and couples. My practice is highly individualized to address common symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. A fundamental belief informing my work is an understanding that the quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our relationships, whether with others or ourselves. I often visualize this as each of us being a part of a 1000 piece puzzle in our lives, with the people in our lives making up the other pieces to fitting a certain way and make the picture. These connections are key to helping you cope and learn about yourself. I identify as a bisexual woman and have a passion for providing affirmative care to communities in need including the LGBTQIA+ community. I work with individuals that are deaf/hard of hearing. My primary work has been helping individuals process trauma, LGBTQIA+ experiences, emotional and adjustment concerns, relationships, anxiety and depression.

I have worked in many settings including inpatient, outpatient, schools, home based therapy, sexual assault services, respite care, family services, emergency/crisis intervention and community mental health. I am trained and certified in many clinical interventions that allows for an integrative approach. I incorporate skill building, trauma interventions, behavioral modification, resourcing, and collaborative work with others to provide the most effective results possible.
