I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. I enjoy working with teens, older adolescents, and adults, and I find importance in providing a welcoming and safe therapeutic environment for all of my clients. Before moving to Texas, I worked as a therapist in Maryland, where I received specialized training in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and other related disorders. I am passionate about normalizing and de-stigmatizing mental health treatment for all ages and ethnicities. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. We have a structure to support intention setting, creative flow, and reflection to help individuals (pre-teens, teens, young adults, and older adults) process their art making experience. You can expect to utilize art making as a mindfulness tool, as well as to develop a coping skill rooted in self-expression.
