I work primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, stress, and relationship challenges. I have experience working as a school counselor, as well as a direct ABA therapist for children and adolescents with ASD and other diagnoses. I use a client centered approach in effort to empower individuals to be leaders in their own healing. Additionally, I collaborate with psychiatrists, school, home, and other professionals to ensure the best treatment.

I am a therapist deeply committed to addressing all the issues interfering with your life. These may include trauma, feeling unlovable, or difficulties in your relationships. Together, we will seek resolutions for issues currently facing you while exploring and understanding significant events/relationships in your past. My approach involves bringing change about from the inside out. We will work towards understanding how the problems that brought you here developed, what they mean, and the purpose that they serve. This approach goes beyond simply treating symptoms and strives to help you make changes that are deeply-rooted and long-lasting. It has been proven that the therapeutic relationship actually creates healthier connections in your brain. In younger children this deeper type of therapeutic change is often accomplished through therapeutic play. Play is the natural language of children and allows them to express their thoughts and feelings.

I am licensed in eight states (PA, NY, NJ, CO, CA, DC, MA, WI) and authorized for interjurisdictional telepsychology practice under PSYPACT. I am board certified in clinical psychology, adult psychoanalysis, school neuropsychology, and assessment psychology; have certification in school psychology; and am a Training and Supervising Analyst affiliated with the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.

Jen is certified in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy and has extensive knowledge, training, and experience in Brain Based Trauma Informed Care working with children and adolescents. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years’ hands-on experience with children, adolescents, and families. Jen combines a customized variety of evidence-based techniques and skills to create growth and healing in her treatment with individuals and families. Jen works closely with parents to support their unique individual child and family by helping them better understand early brain development and promote change.

I am not practicing psychotherapy at this time. My practice is limited to only psychological evaluations. I am a Licensed Psychologist with 23 years of experience providing psychotherapy and psychological evaluations. My expertise is in the psychological assessment of children (especially toddlers at 2-4 years old) for Autism and other Developmental Delays. I am a former Naval Officer. In my practice, I also provide long-term Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for various concerns. I am a Clinical Fellow with the International Neuropsychoanalysis Society with Board Certification.
