I am so glad you are considering getting started with therapy, whether it’s for you or a loved one. I specialize in working with young adults, adults and parents- especially those struggling relationally. This might mean you struggle with your internal thoughts/feelings. This can also mean you are struggling to navigate relationships outside of yourself- with loved ones, friends, family members. I work well with people who have tried therapy but feel stuck or need a different approach. In our sessions, we will focus on how you relate to the different parts of yourself as well as how you are feeling about your external relationships.
Some topics I can help you with include lack of confidence/critical self-talk, anxious thoughts, depression, navigating conflict, improving your relationships and adapting to big life changes (starting a family, moving, college). I tend to lead with curiosity and then guide my clients in the ways that they need to achieve the changes they are looking for.
I’d like you to feel empowered to create changes (as soon as possible) that last well after our sessions. I don't see any of my clients as entering the room alone. You carry your world along with you, and we can take a good look at it together. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
