Do you have chronic pain and medical conditions? Anxiety? Depression? I have personal and professional experience and understand how it is hard to find someone who “gets it.” I would like to work alongside you to help you live a happy, meaningful life with these conditions. I also enjoy helping individuals with mood disorders, stress management, and life transitions. I currently see clients ages 12 and up.

My ideal client is dealing with substance abuse and they along with their family have suffered tremendously. They can be in any of the 4 stages of change. I approach helping my clients heal in a empathetic and compassionate way which introduces a holistic approach to living. I do not see my clients as "addicts" but rather people who are hurting on an variety of levels and are worth saving. My experience, knowledge and licensure enable me to aid people who are battling weight, sexual and relationship issues as well.

My specialty is working with children and teens striving to manage a variety of issues in the areas of anxiety and depression. I also have a full staff at Perrysburg Counseling offering decades of experience with a variety of issues and populations. Issues include anxiety and depression, self-esteem, trauma, behavioral issues, grief and loss and self-harm and suicide. We work with populations that include children, teens, adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and couples. Our goal is to help you learn how to manage these challenges, overcome obstacles, and be successful in anything you choose to do.

I believe therapy should be about a caring and collaborative relationship that helps you build the life that you desire. I am here to be supportive, encouraging, and emphasize already positive qualities, as well as develop effective coping skills, thinking patterns and insight. In a casual and safe environment, therapy will focus on processing experiences, building skills and developing a healthy lifestyle to cope with whatever depression, anxiety or trauma symptoms you are struggling with. I want to help you build a life you want by decreasing the negative impact of those symptoms and increasing your ability to cope with them.

We use a holistic, integrative approach to mental health focusing on the mind, body, and spirit. We work with clients ages 3-100 using an integrative approach recognizing that many aspects effect mental health including our past experiences, upbringing, genetics, traumas, attachments, health, spiritual experiences, and more. We look towards the root cause of mental health symptoms and treat the whole person. We are an open-minded practice that welcomes all genders, religions, orientations, races, and cultures.
