I specialize in evidenced-based treatments for children, adolescents, and families. My approach to treatment is heavily skill-based, goal oriented, and highly collaborative. I view the parents/guardians as experts in their child, and feel that together, we form a unified team. My practice includes: Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Depression, OCD, Parent-Child Conflict/Skill Development, Phobias, and Self-Esteem Enhancement. I also specialize in working with the siblings of children with special needs, including developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs, to address family dynamics and coping skills development.
I take a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach to patterns of behavior that may be inhibiting a child, adolescent, or family from living life to their fullest and happiest potential. I utilize various therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
