Lee Clausen, M.S., P.L.M.H.P., P.L.A.D.C. C.P.S.W.S., began his career in mental health as a Certified Peer Support & Wellness Specialist and he still believes in the principals espoused by Shery Mead in differentiating between learning versus helping, relationships versus individuals, and hope versus fear. Ultimately, mental health support is about understanding the perspective of another; a shared meaning between client and counselor emerges that allows the client to understand the value and meaning in their present relationships and how those relationships allow a new set of possibilities to emerge through a sense of community.

I also devote much of my time with Child Parent Psychotherapy to create joy within parent and child relationships and building secure attachments.
