I am a North Carolina native who has dedicated my life to raising awareness for mental health/substance use issues and reducing the stigma around accessing treatment for both. For the past ten years, I have worked in a variety of community mental health agencies, serving the needs of individuals from all walks of life. My professional counseling experience includes individual and group counseling in a community mental health agency and a local Detention Center as well as crisis intervention in a community setting. I specialize in depressive & anxiety disorders as well as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and stress reactions.

I am taking new clients. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to grow and learn about yourself while letting go of what doesn't serve you. The first step in reaching out for support can be a scary one, but you don't have to take on the rest of the journey alone. I believe that therapy is a partnership built on trust, and though change may be difficult, it can become a little easier to cope with, with the right set of tools and support.

We can work on coping skills to help deal with things as they come up. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have specialized training in Substance Use. I work with both teens and adults experiencing issues related to depression and anxiety, mood disorders, as well as problems related to adjusting to life changes.

We are here to help you navigate your feelings, whether they be depression, anxiety, trauma, fear, or any other emotion. Our office is small but we have three therapists, one male and two females. We have a certified play therapist who sees children as young as 3, and a registered trauma specialist who also sees children as young as 3. We offer not therapy, but also supervised visitation, supervised parental hand-offs, and supervised phone calls.

There can be a lot of obstacles to living the life you want, therapy can help. We have appointments available with independently contracted therapists who enjoy working with couples, adults, teens and children. We contract with experienced, licensed clinicians that can help you work through what may be holding you back.

Oftentimes we find ourselves taking the scenic route through life. It can become overwhelming dealing with one obstacle after another, not being able to put your finger on exactly what’s wrong. It’s times like this along our route that we need someone to talk to, to provide us a little help with learning to control the direction of our life. I can be that person, helping to improve your mental health while promoting well-being in a safe respectful environment, free of judgment where trust can be built and truth found.

My focus is to prevent drug abuse by awareness .Some time the misuse of alcohol and drugs change how the mind and body work. Working in mental health for the past 5 years, I have learned that mental health is a part of your personal growth and well being. It's a way to heal mentally, spiritually, and to learn to forgive.
