I'm happy to be here to help you with your therapy needs! I have served in the field of Social Work for 17 years and my passion is helping others achieve their goals. I have been a Licensed Clinician for over 5 years and currently work with active-duty military and their spouses full time.

I love working with individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I help create an environment where kids learn to manage ADHD symptoms while providing parents new & practical life hacks.

While techniques and interventions are important, the relationship between therapist and client is essential for positive outcomes. I have particular interest and experience in working with those impacted by traumatic experiences. I have come to recognize that much of client distress stems from unresolved trauma (grief, abuse, mistreatment, etc.). So, you want to know a little bit about me, I suppose. You can share your story with me later! One question I get asked a lot is how and why I chose this career. Here's the backstory: I knew that I wanted to be a therapist as a young child, but as it sometimes happens, life had an alternate plan for me and took a slightly different course for a while. Yes, I am also a person that had to take the long way to get to my dream of supporting people on their journey.

Do you need help navigating the issues of life? You don't have to tackle these issues alone. Allow me to help. I will walk alongside you and together we can figure it out. We all need help from time to time. This doesn’t make us weak, it makes us human. Sometimes a little help is needed to bring answers we already possess to the surface.

Therapy should feel like a conversation between two people filled with some laughter, tears and comfort. What can you expect from me as your therapist? I am very laid back, open and honest. I am accessible to my clients in between sessions should a situation arise. I like to have a good time while also addressing your goals and believe that there are working sessions and venting sessions. Therapy is a great opportunity to get a new perspective, to increase self-esteem and to feel more confident in the decisions we are making and reframing those automatic negative thoughts.

I believe in order to have total healing and complete growth, individuals must focus on treating all parts of themselves as a whole. This holistic approach includes looking within and at all areas of one's life (physical, mental, emotional, spirtual, etc.) I provide consultations and counseling/psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and advocates. My main therapeutic approaches are Holistic and Cognitive-Behavioral. However, the therapeutic approach chosen will be client centered and problem focused on the issues experienced by the client to assist the client in reaching the most favorable outcomes, growth and healing.
