I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Louisiana and New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with over a decade of experience providing mental health counseling. I see the counseling relationship as a relationship involving openness, trust, and respect on both the part of the counselor and client. I commonly utilize breathe work and other non traditional techniques into therapy. I allow the client to guide the session and their own work, but do not hold back observations about client's thought patterns and potential for growth. I treat all clients with unconditional positive regard and allow them to adapt within their own limits and social dynamics. Clients should always feel as though they have learned skills relevant to daily life.
