I work with families, individuals, and students to help each person reach their ultimate potential. Whether it be a relationship issue, educational concern, or personal struggle, I believe we truly possess all the necessary power within ourselves to accomplish our goals. I help individuals explore, understand, and harness their unique strengths. Because no two individuals or families are alike, my treatment approach varies depending on presenting concern.
I came to the field of psychology because I simply enjoy making connections with people and understanding their circumstances. Together, we make change. I am very "client centered" in that way. I tend to conceptualize issues from developmental and family systems perspectives.
I work with a broad array of clientele on several varied issues. However, I am unique in my dual licensure as both a clinical psychologist and a school psychologist. As such, I help families of special needs students understand their child's needs and school related interventions. For more information, visit my website amazingyoupsych.com
